A young bottle shop clerk was reportedly stabbed to death minutes before he was due to end his shift.
The horror incident took place at around 9pm on Sunday night at the BWS Airport Tavern bottle shop in Darwin.
A 19-year-old man was arrested early Monday morning.
He remains in police custody and is expected to face charges later today.
