A teenage girl has died after the allegedly stolen car she was traveling in collided with a Mercedes SUV.
Emergency services were called to Mahoneys Road in the Melbourne suburb of Thomastown at around 1:10am on Sunday after an allegedly stolen Kia Cerato and the Mercedes collided.
Police and paramedics began performing CPR on one of the passengers of the Cerato – a 19-year-old girl from Millpark – but she could not be resuscitated.
A female passenger, 21, of the Cerato and a man and woman, both in their 30s, of the Mercedes were taken to hospital with injuries.
