Tiger Zinda Hai Fame Sajjad Delafrooz Regrets Rejecting Pathaan Director Siddharth Anand’s WAR: “Would Never Repeat The Mistake Of…”
Those who live and breathe Bollywood could identify Sajjad Delafrooz as the ruthless terrorist Abu Usman in Tiger Zinda Hai which earned him thousands of new fans. And now the actor is starting to make progress in Bollywood as a foreigner and not signing enough projects.
He is undeniably one of the best actors in Bollywood. He has carved out a niche for himself in the industry. Though the actor is currently one of the most sought after, Sajjad talks about how it took time for him to understand the ways of Bollywood and not sign enough projects. The actor continues: “I am not from India. I was not familiar with the ways of the entertainment industry. In fact, it was much later that I understood the concept of ‘out of sight, out of mind’. I am an artist and I want to experiment with my work, I want versatility, but at the same time I would never repeat the mistake of not signing enough projects.”
Sajjad Delafrooz adds, “Now I regret not doing certain projects like WAR. I passed up that opportunity because of the data. But now I know better, and if I get the chance to work with a director like Siddharth Anand again, I won’t pass it up.”
The actor further added, “To survive in the industry, you have to do a lot more than just act. One has to be on top of their game and also just put yourself out there. So now I’m making a conscious effort to work in more films.
On the work front, apart from ‘Tiger Zinda Hai‘, Sajjad was also featured in a web series called ‘Special OPS’, and ‘Freddy’ in addition Kartik Aryan.
