Recalling the incident, Shah Rukh Khan said, “I remember being in my early days after working with Sarojji. At that time I worked three shifts and I would be like this (leans back in his chair and sticks out his tongue).” The actor continued, “I said to her, ‘Sarojjiitna kaam hai, thak gaya hoon (Sarojji, I’m too tired, there’s too much work)’.”

Bollywood’s Badshah added, “She would be very motherly to me and she would slap me on the cheek, pyaar se (lovingly), and say, ‘Kabhi yeh mat kehna ki zyada kaam hai’ (Never complain about too much work there is never too much work in this area. I’m just lucky to have so much to choose from. So no pressure.”
