A junior police officer who was suspended following an alleged inappropriate relationship with a married police chief is now reportedly under investigation for an alleged affair with a drug lord.
PC Caitlin Howarth, then aged 21, was suspended from West Yorkshire Police in November 2021 after being accused of having an affair with her commanding officer, Superintendent Daniel Greenwood, who was 38 at the time.
However, their alleged relationship reportedly only came to light after an investigation by anti-corruption police officers into her ties to a drug lord now behind bars for supplying heroin.
PC Howarth, a probation officer, is still suspended while the West Yorkshire Police Professional Standards Directorate investigates the claims further.

The Chief Constable of the force has reportedly been made aware of PC Howarth’s alleged misconduct, the Sun reports.
Chief Supt Greenwood – a Bradford District Commander – has been with West Yorkshire Police for nearly 20 years. He was also suspended after the alleged affair.
Chief Constable John Robins is given the final say on the action taken against both officers.
Rookie police officer Howarth, who lives with her mother in Bingley, West Yorkshire, has been posting pictures of herself in revealing clothing on social media – including on her Instagram account which has more than 10,000 followers.
