An Aussie YouTuber has mocked a fake media pass and filmed himself making his way past security at Perth’s RAC Arena to sit ringside at UFC 284 in a seat worth thousands of dollars.

Michael Todoro, known as MikeyT, perpetrated the scam over the weekend at one of the most high-profile sporting events in the country, teaming up with UFC stars like Alex Volkanovski.

“We literally just walked in and no questions were asked or nothing — we just sat next to ringside with the other media crew,” Todoro told 7NEWS.

In a video clip he posted to YouTube, Todoro claims that tickets to the event sold out “within ten seconds,” leaving him with only one option: sneak into the event.

The Perth fight fan describes how he made his own UFC staff uniform by buying a black polo shirt and ironing an official logo on it.

Todoro also explains how he found a photo of a media pass and a lanyard and had someone he knew make a replica.

The YouTuber, sitting in a spot where seats can cost as much as $3,578, went backstage at the event and even got to walk off with Aussie stars Justin Tafa and featherweight champion Alex Volkanovski.

After the event, Todoro sat in his car and recorded how he reacted to how his scam played out.

“I am incredibly lost for words on how that all just played out. I originally thought I was going to sneak into the event and stuff,” he said.

“The fact how we managed to do all those things and literally get ringside, go backstage and even walk away with the two main event people — that was just incredible.”

When asked if he would try a similar stunt again, Todoro answered right away.

“One hundred percent, yes.”

The Russian negated Volkanovski’s victory on home soil by winning the blockbuster main event by a unanimous decision 28-27, 28-27, 29-26.

The loss was the Australian’s first in the UFC after 22 consecutive wins, but Volkanovski insisted he felt he had won the fight.
