LYNNE Marta has died at the age of 78 after living with cancer.
Lynne was known for playing the role of Lulu Warnicker in the 1984 version of Footloose alongside Kevin Bacon.

She also appeared in the movie Joe Kidd.
The actress died in her Los Angeles, California, home on Thursday, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
She is survived by her sister, MJ, and her cat, Mr. Peaches.
Lynne had appearances on several notable television shows including ER, Days of Our Lives, The Young and the Restless, Law and Order, and even Starsky and Hutch.
In 1983, People noted that Starsky and Hutch star David Soul had an “open relationship” with her after his marriage failed.
They reportedly lived together, although they would see other people outside of their relationship.
On Facebook, those who will remember Lynne wrote messages of mourning.
Her friend Joan Sobel wrote: “We lost a beautiful light today.
“My friend, Lynne Marta lost her good fight.”
She continued: “A wonderfully talented actress and a beautiful singer whose voice was of the angels.
“A dear heart who adored her friends both human and furry. I will miss her terribly.”
CLOSE TO DANGER
In 1989, actress Rebecca Schaeffer was killed by an obsessive fan named Robert John Bardo – and Lynne was right down the hall in her apartment when it happened.
As a witness to the event, Lynne was the person who called 911 after hearing the gunshot, according to a report from the Los Angeles Times.
She said at the time: “The door shook, the wall shook.
“The cat went up into the air. I fell to my knees and crawled into the bedroom.
“Then, I heard Rebecca’s first scream.”
Lynne continued: “She was still screaming while I was talking to 911.
“By the time I got to the door, she was wailing. I opened the small hatch in my door.
“There was a smell I’ll never forget: the smell of gunfire. It was quiet except for light moaning.”
