TATTOO regret is hitting one man hard after he got the ink in hopes of impressing a woman he’d known for just three days.
Now he wants to remove the body modification, which he had done on his face.
The man posted a photo of the bad tattoo to Facebook, explaining the string of events that led up to the unwanted mark.
“My first tattoo to match/impress my ex I had known for three days at the time,” he said.
“We didn’t work out and [we] were the definition of toxic,” he added.
But the heart-shaped face tattoo wasn’t the only one he got that day.
“I did a drunk walk-in at a shop and got this one and three other ones done,” he said.
He requested advice from the Facebook group, which is based on “tattoo regret.”
“How can I remove this at home or dirt cheap?” he asked. “The line work is super thin.”
He mentioned one more issue with the face tattoo, which defeated its original purpose.
“Also, I got it on the wrong cheek to match her heart face tattoo,” he said.
The post drew in many people who weighed in on the body modification blunder in the comment section.
“A lot of tattooists do laser removal,” one advised.
“Go back to the shop you had it done at and tell them you’ve been advised that they carried it out illegally as you were intoxicated, and suggest they laser it for you. Good luck.”
“At home?” another added. “If you’d like to retain your skin I wouldn’t do it at home.”
“Who the f**k tattoos drunk people?” a third commented. “Absolutely disgusting practice.”
