RED flags have plagued Belle Dingle’s relationship with Tom King with soap fans convinced he’s keeping a dark secret.
The ordeal takes a turn next week in Emmerdale as Tom humiliates and controls his new bride.

Belle Dingle (portrayed by Eden Taylor-Draper) is being mistreated behind closed doors by her beau and her ordeal could be taking devastating proportions.
After initially refusing to marry him, out of fear their happy union would be insensitive news to share in the midst of Lydia Dingle’s rape ordeal, Belle decided to pop the question to Tom King (James Chase).
Many hurdles appeared in the run-up to their wedding ceremony and Ruby Fox-Miligan had a bombshell to share about her husband Caleb and Tracy Robinson but the pair got hitched, ready for a happy future.
Sadly, and as ITV viewers realised, Belle is set for some harrowing times as her other half shows his true colours.
Next week, a loved-up Belle and Tom arrive home from their honeymoon and the conflict continues.
When Belle asserts herself, Tom puts his foot down, intent on being in control.
Later on, Belle discusses her sex life with Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) and Mandy Dingle (Lisa Riley) over at the Salon.
Mandy inspires Belle to give Tom a surprise and an idea pops into her head.
Unfortunately, when she surprises him at work, Tom curtly chastises a humiliated Belle.
How will Belle react?
Will she realise her relationship with Tom is doomed, as fans of the Yorkshire-based drama have speculated?
This won’t be the first time Tom tries to control Belle.
Ahead of their wedding, the couple have had a few challenging conversations that highlighted the budding villain’s worrying behaviour.
Belle mentioned her desire to keep the Dingle name despite being married to Tom but her beau was intent on making her a King.
However, some fans are theorising that Tom may be capable of worse things than harming Belle.

In late 2023, Belle found out that Tom’s mother Colleen King had passed aware after a fatal heart attack.
Multiple fans took to X, formerly known as Twitter, sharing their theories about Colleen’s off-screen death – and many agreed that Tom could be to blame.
“I can’t for the life of me understand why Belle hasn’t clocked that there’s something completely off about Tom!”, one soap watcher penned.
Another agreed: “Tom makes me swear. Get rid. Bad idea to reintroduce him in the first place.”
