Miley Cyrus’ sister Noah ‘NEVER dated mom Tish’s husband Dominic Purcell’ – and family insiders are accusing her of FABRICATING the romance to ‘paint herself as the victim’ in family feud

Miley Cyrus‘ sister Noah ‘never dated’ her mother Tish’s husband Dominic Purcell – and is now being accused by family insiders of ‘fabricating’ a relationship with the Prison Break actor in order to ‘paint herself as the victim’ in her ongoing feud with her mom. 

The claims come after Us Weekly published a report on Tuesday claiming Tish, 56, had ‘stolen’ her husband Dominic, 54, from her estranged daughter Noah, 24, who was said to be ‘seeing’ the actor when her mother began to pursue him.

‘Noah was [seeing] Dominic when Tish started pursuing him,’ the outlet claimed – adding that Tish ‘was aware’ of this when she began to contact the star.’ 

However, a source close to the Cyrus family has now told DailyMail.com that Noah and Dominic were never involved in any kind of romantic relationship – claiming that it would be ‘delusional [of the singer] to think otherwise.’ 

‘Noah never dated Dominic and they were not together. She is delusional to think otherwise and is trying to create a narrative that will paint her as a victim,’ the insider said. 

Speculation that a fall-out had occurred between the singer and her mother arose when Tish and Dominic tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at Miley’s home in August 2023 – which neither Noah or her brother Braison, 29, attended. 

According to DailyMail.com’s insider, Noah’s absence at the wedding was not by choice, but rather the result of Tish failing to invite her. 

‘Noah was not invited to Tish’s wedding and she would not have come even if she was,’ the source said. ‘Tish wanted a peaceful wedding and did not want Noah to create any sort of scene.’

The insider also said that the story about Tish allegedly ‘stealing’ Dominic from her daughter has only further complicated the already-difficult dynamic between her and Noah, who, they claimed, has always felt her mom ‘favors’ Miley over her other children. 

‘Noah has always craved the attention because she did not get it growing up. Tish was always so Miley-sided because that is where the money was,’ they said.

‘Miley and Tish are like sisters and Noah has always been envious of this because she’s never had a connection with Tish like Miley has,’ the source claimed.

A separate source conceded that Tish and Miley – who attended the 2024 Grammy Awards together along with Dominic – ‘march to the beat of their own drum’, but insisted that it is ‘ludicrous’ to think that the Cyrus family matriarch would go after someone who was dating her own daughter. 

‘Tish and Dominic are all in with each other and Noah and Dominic never even had a thing going on and think that it is ludicrous that people would think Tish stole Dominic from her daughter,’ the source told DailyMail.com.

‘Tish and Miley are both the same person and that is why they get along with each other so well, but that also leads to the rest of the family to not get along all the time. 

‘They both love hard and get very emotional when love goes off the track,’ the insider said.

DailyMail.com has reached out to Tish, Dominic and Noah for comment. 

According to Us Weekly, the turmoil between Noah and Tish goes far beyond [what people think]. Noah is very distraught over Tish stealing Dominic from her.’ 

Earlier this month, Tish appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast and opened up about her relationship with Dominic, including details about their first date.

She explained that he had initially reached out to her in 2016 in an Instagram message – which she missed. 

‘I had followed him on Instagram and he DM’d me and just said, “Hey Tish, just wanted to [say], I think you’re super cool and… you’re doing such a great job with your family.” [But] I didn’t see it for a year.’ 

However, later in 2017, Tish’s daughter, Brandi, noticed that Dominic had blocked her account. 

‘His ex had seen he hit me up and blocked me from his Instagram. I almost peed my pants because I was like… Why am I blocked? He doesn’t even know I exist, and I’m blocked. We were laughing so hard.’ 

Years later in 2022, following her messy divorce from her husband of 29 years, Billy Ray Cyrus, 62, Tish reached out to Dominic and he quickly responded back. The pair soon went on a date and the next day, told each other ‘I love you’.

The couple eventually said ‘I do’ in August 2023 – but both her daughter Noah and son Braison were not in attendance. Us Weekly also reported that Noah was not invited to the wedding, which was held at Miley’s lavish Malibu mansion. 

However, Noah kept busy on the big day by spending time with her brother, Braison. She took to Instagram to share moments from their day together, including an excursion to Walmart while sporting a Billy Ray Cyrus shirt. 

At the time, a separate source informed Us Weekly, ‘It’s no secret neither of them approves of Dominic, and that’s created tension with their mom.

‘[Noah has] always been close with Billy Ray… It’s caused a rift between her and Miley,’ the insider continued. 

Tish and the Achy Breaky Heart singer tied the knot in 1993 and remained married until she filed for divorce in April 2022 citing ‘irreconcilable differences’, with their date of separation taking place two years earlier.

The pair had ups and downs throughout the relationship, with the singer filing for divorce in 2010 – which was dropped. Tish also previously filed in 2013 – but that had also been dropped.

The former spouses share five children together: biological kids Miley, Noah, 24, and Braison, 29, as well as Brandi, 36, and Trace, 34, Tish’s daughter and son from a previous marriage, who Billy Ray adopted.

Billy Ray also shares a son, Christopher, 31, with his ex, Kristin Luckey. 

The rumored family rift also extends to Miley – who notably left her father out of her Grammys acceptance speech earlier this month. The father-daughter duo’s relationship reportedly became shaky following Billy Ray’s split from Tish. 

An insider told Page Six shortly after the Grammys earlier this month that Billy has ‘tried reaching out to Miley many times’ and also ‘congratulated her’ on the Grammy wins.

Miley and Billy Ray are on the outs,’ the source told the outlet. ‘Miley’s very close with her mom and is standing by her.’ 

While Miley made no mention of her father during her Grammys speech, her mom Tish and her stepfather Dominic were both present at the awards ceremony, with the Prison Break star sharing a gushing tribute to the popstar on Instagram.

‘A [new] experience for me for sure…. Sharing the moment with the wife,’ he wrote alongside an image of himself and Tish behind-the-scenes at the awards show. 

‘@tishcyruspurcell and her beautiful daughter @mileycyrus who’s up for “a thousand awards”… such an extraordinary talent. 

‘To the hottest woman on earth, my stunningly beautiful wife. What would we all do without you? Humbled to be around you both. Love u.’ 

As for the rest of their six children, the insider said that all of ‘kids have chosen sides’ but ‘friends are hoping the rift doesn’t last forever.’ 

Earlier this month, Tish revealed she had a ‘complete psychological breakdown’ in the wake of her split from Billy Ray.

During an interview on Alex Cooper’s Call Her Daddy podcast, the star detailed the end of her marriage to longtime husband amid the COVID-19 pandemic.

‘It was so crazy, my two biggest fears in life were being alone and my mom passing away. And I had one month of a complete psychological breakdown,’ she recalled.

The whole process had sent her entire world into a tailspin, she explained, as she detailed what an incredibly hard time it was for her.

Tish explained: ‘It was the worst thing, it was not good… Kind of pushed the mom thing under the rug, and then the divorce thing came.

‘I could not eat, I could not sleep, I could not stop crying. I don’t have my mom, and then I don’t have my husband that has been my husband for 30 years. Like I’m scared.’

She also said that she pushed her now ex-husband into doing Hannah Montana with daughter, Miley, so their ‘family could be together.’ 

In regards to the split and his relationship with his kids following the divorce, Billy Ray told People, ‘Everyone knew that that relationship was over a long time ago. Everybody’s turning the page. It’s been a lot, but everyone knew that it was time for a change.’ 

Billy has also since moved on following the divorce from Tish, and married Australian singer, Firerose, late last year in October during an ‘ethereal celebration of love.’ 

The ceremony was held two months after Tish and Dominic said ‘I do’ in August. 

In the caption of the joint post with his new wife, Billy sweetly penned, ’10/10/23 will always be the beautiful, joyous day that our two souls united as one in holy matrimony.’ 

Billy expressed, ‘It was the most perfect, ethereal celebration of love we could have ever imagined.’

‘For both of us to hear the preacher say, “Billy Ray and Firerose Cyrus… I now pronounce you husband and wife” that was the sacred moment our new forever began. Long Live Love!’

The two notably collaborated on the track called, New Day, which was released in 2021 and the pair also performed the song together on a number of talk shows.

Billy and Firerose also worked on the track, Plans, which they sang together on Good Morning America last month in September.

In August 2022, Billy proposed to Firerose, however, he didn’t confirm their engagement until later that same year in November.
