WESTLIFE star Mark Feehily has pulled out of the band’s world tour following secret surgery.
Fans have been left devastated by the shock news as the singer revealed he went under the knife for the fourth time since 2020 after medics found a “very large incisional hernia”.

He says the “physical demands” of the concerts and extensive travel has proved “too much for me”.
The singer told fans in an emotional post online: “That surgery took place recently and thankfully it went according to plan, but with that, my recovery must now become my absolute priority at this time.
“It is with the upmost level of regret that I must now temporarily stand down from all Westlife toruing until a time that I have had the chance to fully recover from the turbulent journey I have been through as an individual. Believe me, I wish things could be different.”
He added: “I’m so devastated that I won’t be there to celebrate the upcoming concerts with you and the three lads. I hope you understand that I should have been there – I was so excited to be there – and that I look forward to seeing you all again to make some more magic in the future.
“For now, I have to make the right decision for my health and wellbeing, for my family and for myself as a person.
“Please don’t worry.”
The remaining members of the band, Kian Egan, Nicky Byrne and Shane Filan will continue the tour without Mark.
“I love you three and know you’ll knock it out of the park”, Mark added.
“I’ll be there with you in spirit for each and every show while you continue to fly the Westlife flag around the world.”
