Christian Wilkins debuted a shock new look at Mardi Gras 2024 over the weekend.

The 28-year-old aspiring actor, who is the son of Today show entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins, showcased a brand new hairstyle that was a massive change to his signature golden blonde locks.

In exclusive photos obtained by Daily Mail Australia, Christian dyed his long hair hot pink for the LGBTQI+ pride event in Sydney.

The dramatic new look was also in celebration of the launch of the Shark FlexStyle Air Styling and Drying system new colour – Malibu Pink.

In the never-before-seen photos, Christian posed up a storm in his bathroom while styling his hair with the air-drying tool.

His brand new pink locks turned from wet to dry with a loose wave with a middle part.

Last week, Christian unveiled one of his dazzling outfits ahead of Mardi Gras, flaunting his muscular abs as he posed in a sheer sparkly dress.

He paired the look with sheer gold Prada sunglasses and wore his long blonde hair out in a sleek blow wave.

Christian wore an identical sheer outfit to the 2023 ARIA Awards in November.

The rising star is in Sydney where he will take part in the Mardi Gras festivities this weekend.

Christian moved to LA in April 2023 to find acting and presenting roles.

However, his dreams hit a snag last year thanks to the SAG-AFRTA strike that brought Hollywood to a standstill.

Christian joined the strike himself, and attended a protest with Australian actor Luke Cook outside Netflix headquarters.

Speaking to the Daily Telegraph during the demonstration, Christian said: ‘It definitely wouldn’t have been my choice example of a time to move here but it is also kind of amazing to be here and see how the community has banded together.’

Last year, he told Who magazine he hopes to secure opportunities in Hollywood.

‘I’ve always wanted to be an actor or a late-night TV host. That would be a dream… so let’s try and manifest that and see if it happens.’
