Kevin Lerena was probably ahead at the halfway stage of this fight, but it’s been Justus Huni who’s won the latter rounds.

Lerena probably needed a knockdown… WHAT?!

Lerena lands flush with a left hook that leaves Huni dazed and confused. Huni’s legs wobble and his head is spinning but he’s still standing.

Kevin Lerena’s output has certainly dwindled over the last few rounds. Justus Huni is now in the ascendancy and probably ahead on the judges scorecards.

Huni has really targeted Lerena’s body, making things very uncomfortable for the South African. Huni’s corner asking him to “stay on him!” but he’s content to wait and pick his moments.

Huni lands a straight right that buckles Lerena’s knees just as the bell goes. One round remaining for a blockbuster finish.
