As the evenings start to become longer and the temperatures gradually increase, the idea of spending your weekends in watching a whole TV series may not sound as tempting as it did a couple of weeks ago.

But this is not something to complain about, as there are a number of high quality shows available on all streaming platforms right now.

Finding the right one to press play on can sometimes be an arduous task, so MailOnline has compiled a list of the seven most bingeable series to stream this weekend.

An investigative journalist mysteriously found dead in a bathtub whilst pursuing a major political conspiracy? Sounds like the perfect story for a Netflix docu-series.

This four-part film explores the death of Danny Casolaro and the conspiracy theory that he claimed would rewrite American history.

Police ruled his death as suicide, but his family and friends have long insisted that he had been murdered for investigating a conspiracy group he had called The Octopus.

This hidden organisation was believed to have dealt with stolen spy software, unsolved murders, money laundering, drug trafficking and Ronald Reagan’s White House.

Director Zachary Treitz’s engrossing series has already reached number two on Netflix’s TV show ratings chart and is expected to be a major hit for the streaming service.

Adapting the iconic 2005 spy thriller starring Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie may not be the top of everyone’s list for prestige TV, but Amazon’s new series is quickly becoming a hit.

The show stars Donald Glover, 40, and Maya Erskine, 36, as ‘John and Jane Smith’, a married couple who on the surface are just your everyday neighbours – but behind closed doors are actually spies.

The Prime Video show was so-created by Glover, Francesca Sloane, and Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who was set to play Mrs. Smith.

However, Phoebe parted ways with Donald and the show over ‘creative differences’ and was ultimately replaced by Erskine who pulls in a star-making performance alongside Glover.
