Over the course of the show, David proved himself a true fan favourite on Celebrity Big Brother, with his light-hearted humour and sweet nature becoming a hit inside and outside the house.

Speaking exclusively to The Sun, celebrity PR Ed Hopkins has declared this could be the first major step to a game-changing pace of career for David – which could see him earn some serious dosh.

“I’m confident he will be signing six-figure deals in the coming months,” Hopkins asserted. “I’m sure projects are already signed and agreed, and if he works hard, there’s no reason why he couldn’t earn a million in the next two years. ITV will look after him.”

“David has been on the scene since 2016, when he first came into the entertainment industry as a rep on Ibiza Weekender, but he’s not a household name by any means,” he said. “A lot of people wouldn’t know who he is, but they will do now!

“I think that’s what’s gonna really benefit him from doing this show. He will become much, much more of a household name on a primetime TV show on ITV. All of the shows he’s done in the past are quite niche shows that portray his fun personality, but they’re very boozy, drinky shows and party driven – Celebrity Big Brother has really shown off his personality to full effect.”

Commenting that David’s caring and kind nature – as well as his comedy value – would be a major benefit for him, Hopkins added: “The fact that he’s won is going to open up so many doors for him. He’s been doing brand deals on Instagram and things like that before, but this will open up TV adverts, actual proper campaigns, and he’ll be able to demand more money for social media posts. He’ll gain a lot more on commercial partnerships.”

As well as being able to demand more money, David could also progress his career away from the reality TV circuit that has first made him famous – with fans already claiming that he could become ‘the next Alison Hammond’, who first found fame on civilian Big Brother in 2002.

“I think he’s definitely opened up doors for radio, and I think this will also open up doors for presenting as well, like cameo red carpet presenting as well as competition segments for the likes of This Morning,” Hopkins noted, stating he could also demand money for panto appearances by the end of the year.

“I’m sure his agent will already have a plan in place of what is going to happen next for him, because he would have gone in with a plan – something that they’ve got their eyes on and that they want to achieve,” he concluded.

“That’s why they’ve done this show, to bring David to the next level.”

Celebrity Big Brother is available now on ITVX.
