Amazon reviewers showered the $4 Elf Squeeze Me Lip Balm with hundreds of five-star reviews.

One reviewer preferred the money-saving product to the $19 Laneige Lip Glowy Balm.

“I have always had very, very chapped lips. Especially in the winter months, my lips would get so dry they’d crack and bleed,” she said.

“I have used different lip balms religiously for years without much improvement. The ones that do moisturize usually don’t last for very long and I have to reapply several times throughout the day.”

After trying the Laneige balm, they explained they found it “unimpressive.”

“I woke up to dry lips every night and it was outrageously expensive,” she said.

“While looking for alternatives, I found this by Elf. I am a big fan of Elf because they were cruelty-free, Vegan, and affordable.”

After trying out Elf’s Squeeze Me lip balm in strawberry, her chapped lips were cured.

“My lips have never felt better. I apply [it] before bed and wake up without dry lips. I apply in the morning and maybe once throughout the day and I am good to go.

“Even once the product dries from my lips, they still feel plump and hydrated instead of cracked and peeling.

“I have since ordered the Peach and Honeydew and can’t wait to try them.”

Others agreed that the Elf lip balm has high hydrating power for a great price.

“I bought this because I am really coming to love Elf products. I don’t wear much-colored makeup, I am however a huge skincare junkie and very picky about the quality of my products,” said one fan.

“If they irritate my skin or don’t work well, or sometimes if they are just overpriced and a less expensive product works, I won’t recommend them.

Its moisturizing effect lasts as long as the other brand. It is a very worthy duplicate. I will keep these for sure, I am delighted at the price.

“I will drop money on an amazing product but I find very few really expensive products to be worth the money,” she added.

“I’ve used it all from very expensive Sephora to Walmart. I’d rather my skin look clear and smooth than be wearing foundation and colored lips and eyes.”

“This lip balm is great! It moisturizes nicely and smells and tastes good.

“Love this product. I have bought every flavor that they offer,” said another happy customer.

“Very hydrating and easy to travel with because of its size. Very good price.”

Many were even pleased with the lip balm’s taste.

“LOVE this balm, I’ve ordered a few and never disappointed, lips feel so hydrated and it has a nice flavor and scent,” said one.

“I have tried higher-end balms that cost much more and this [is] so much better… I highly recommend!”

“Tastes amazing and keeps my lips hydrated all day long. Love this!” agreed another.
