But it’s all proving a bit much for Joe, who’d prefer to see some consistency with the interior design.

Stacey filmed Joe arriving home last night and having a go at her latest spring spruce up.

He fumed: “What do you mean it’s spring, Stace?

Christmas, Halloween, you know what, I’ll even accept Easter…”

Laying on her back, an exasperated Stacey said: “What do you mean you’ll even accept it? It’s a thing.”

Joe replied: “Spring has never been a thing.

“You’re making up traditions.”

Stacey said: “The seasons have been going since before the beginning of time.”

Joe continued: “You’re using every month as an excuse to change colours.”

His wife shot back: “Not every month, just every season.”

Joe then said: “Listen, out of the 12 months you’re definitely using five or six of them. At least half of the year is a theme.”

Getting the final word in, Stacey shared a glimpse at the spring theme and writing: “I’ve actually had the best day bringing spring to Pickle Cottage.

“There’s actually no way to describe the feeling of putting my own home range out in the house. It will never feel real.”

The bickering match comes just days after the family returned from a touring holiday in Scotland in a hired £70,000 camper van.

Stacey said on the trip: “On The Craziest Adventure Ever, 5 kids, 1 me, 1 Joe Swash and a caravan.

“I fell asleep somewhere in Essex & woke up looking for the Loch Ness monster.

“Joe’s never been happier.”
